👉More than 80% of marine litter is plastics. Plastic accumulates in seas, oceans and on beaches worldwide. Plastic residues are found in marine species – such as sea turtles, seals, whales and birds, but also in fish and shellfish, and therefore in the human food chain.

3. Reduce energy use, save money, and reduce harm!
Efficiency means getting more for less. If we are efficient with energy, we can enjoy the same levels of comfort or more, while using less money! Energy is a major contributor to climate change, through the generation of green-house has emissions.
What can I do, you may ask? Plenty!
● Switch off electrical appliances when not in use
● Buy appliances with higher energy efficiency labels, to save more money in the long run
● Encourage family activities in a common space
4. Don’t pour away used cooking oil
Improper disposal of waste cooking oil, such as disposal down your sink, leads to clogged drains, obstructs the flow of waste water, can contribute to flash floods and pollute water bodies.
